Khao Sok National Park was established on December 22nd in 1982 as Thailand’s 22nd National Park. Today, it comprises 739 km2, including the marvelous man-made Cheow Larn Lake. Adjacent to Sri Phang Nga (246 km2), Khlong Phanom (410 km2) and Kaeng Krung (541 km2) National Parks along with Khlong Saeng (1156 km2) and Khlong Naka (480 km2) wildlife sanctuaries, Khao Sok is part of the largest stretch of protected Rainforest in Southern Thailand.
