Description:
The blue‐winged pitta is a colorful songbird found in Australia and South East Asia. It displays a black head, white chin and bluff body. Its wings are blue, hence its name, and also the tip of the tail is a deep violet‐blue color. It is often seen singing on top of tall trees.
